This project was for a Client near Coleshill in Warwickshire.

The Client wanted a new Kitchen Extension with underfloor heating built onto the rear of a late Victorian House.

The dimensions were approximately 8m x 3.5m x 2.8m.

It was a brick built construction with insulated cavity walls, and a clay tiled roof.

We sourced the construction materials to ensure they were as sympathetic to the existing structure as possible, whilst also ensuring they were competitively priced.

The heating system was a wet underfloor system connected to an existing gas boiler.

In addition to the general build we were also tasked with laying the underfloor heating system including the specialist screed.

The project was completed on programme and within budget.

The procurement method was cost reimbursable contract plus fixed fee. This was decided to be the most appropriate as there were a number of unknown risks associated with the project due to the age of the building and lack of services information.
